Are there club outings? Club outings are informal and can be arranged through the Facebook site.
Other than informal trips together, the other times the majority of club members will go to the mountain are for lesson dates. The lesson dates for the 23/24 season are January 21, January 28, February 4, and February 11 at 1:45pm.
Please note that lessons are for beginners only. Wintergreen asks that you arrive at least an hour before the lesson, and be ready to ski at 1:30pm so that you have time to get your skis rented and get you and/or your children ready to ski!

DO I NEED A PHOTO FOR MY SEASON PASS?

IF YOU ARE GETTING 4 PACKS, PICTURES ARE NOT NEEDED!

- IF you have an RFID card from last year ----> Your photo is already on file with Wintergreen, good to go!
- IF you are a new member or don't have your RFID card from last year ----> You must submit a headshot to Wintergreen with a plain background, black and white or color, no filters, and no headgear or sunglasses. Photos will need to be sent to wintergreen at the time you register - instructions are on the registration form.
- The max size is 50kb, so make sure you shrink it down when you send it!

WHAT IS AN RFID CARD AND CAN I REUSE MINE?
An RFID ticketing and gate system will provide a direct-to-lift convenience for all guests who have a reloadable RFID card. These cards can be reloaded each year with any product you purchase. They can be reloaded with club purchases or any other tickets you may purchase directly from Wintergreen online. Each guest needs to have their own RFID card on person to pass through the Lift Axcess Gates. Reloadable cards are not transferable.

CAN WE SHARE A PASS AS A FAMILY?

- Although the new RFID does not have your picture on your card the picture is on file. When your card activates the gate at the lift your photo appears to the lift operator. This is being closely monitored by Wintergreen staff.
- Consequences:
- Wintergreen will report this to the police and you will be charged with Theft of Services.
- You will be banned from purchasing any tickets/passes in the future at Wintergreen.
- You will be banned from the Crozet Ski & Snowboard Club
RENTALS
All renters must be pre-registered in the Wintergreen system prior to arriving. Please register at:

- Both are not valid on Saturdays, though a season pass allows you to buy a discounted lift ticket ($59)
- Club packages are good for 4, 5 hour visits while a Season Pass is unlimited.
- Season Passes are valid in December on non-holiday times, Club packages are valid starting January 2.

The google forms will include payment options, and after registering, David and Susannah will be reviewing all of the registrations for qualifications and accuracy, and will include payment information in follow up emails.
Zelle will be the first option and cash or aa check, written to David Whitcomb is the second. David and Susannah have to submit a single payment to Wintergreen for the whole club, which is the reason for this requirements.
Checks must be dropped off on the following dates:

HOW DO I PICK UP MY CARD OR SEASON PASS?
The club leaders have graciously agreed to distribute all cards locally in Crozet to save each family shipping costs. In order to pick up your cards you must have submitted any and all photos and liability waivers required. These will all be completed through the Google Form when you register.
Because we don't know when cards will be ready, a card pick-up day will be scheduled soon!

I DON'T SKI OR SNOWBOARD; CAN MY CHILD PARTICIPATE?
Skiing/snowboarding are great family activities, and you can learn at any age! That being said, you don't have to be on the slopes but you must be at Wintergreen. You can just be present to help your child through the rental line, and then hang out in the lodge with the other parents. Kids cycle through the lodge looking for hot cocoa and snacks, so having parents around to help supervise in there helps too!
